[ the first thing that lavi might spot is the fact that yoru is sitting on top of one of the tables of the library, scribbling in what appears to be a coloring book with some pens that he's got laying out next to him. he has a fort of book stacks around him at the moment, about three of them.
the second thing lavi might see is kon dropping another stack of books next to him, all of the titles a miscellaneous collection that seem to have not much to do with each other. fiction, non-fiction, help books, comics, the whole gamut. ] Let's try these ones.
[Lavi approaches also with books in hand, except he's only got two tucked under his arm. A small, black object flutters behind him as he wanders right next to the desk,]
Hey, Kon, Yoru. Whatcha guys up to?
[lavi asks, even as he peers over the stacks to see what Yoru's coloring,]
Lavi! [ oh, good, yoru's retained his name. kon was worried about that. it's just a simple coloring book from the bookstore, one for very small children. he's... mostly in the lines? ] Bat?
[ not sure what the fluttery thing is (i know! "we know, snow") but he drops down to sit, dragging one of the piles over to grab a book off the top. ] Trying to find any books that are useful to the situation. Or maybe one that doesn't have missing pages. A bunch have been torn out.
[nooo yoru remembers him.... he gives yoru a little finger wave, then turns his attention back to kon. (the golem blinks once, breaking the fourth wall to wink at snow)]
-- Seriously? [he takes the next book from the pile and starts flipping through out, then stops when he comes to a jagged section,
groans]
What the hell are they doing -- starting more fires?
[ (snow gives a finger wave to the golem) returning to his coloring after giving an enthusiastic wave, yoru hums tunelessly but adorably while kon just.
groans with. ]
Maybe fires. I've found a lot that are, like, cliffhangers? Leaving information that you need out. Dissatisfaction. Time Enough At Last-esque crap.
