It's Hell. I didn't expect great things, but this is just worse somehow.

Although I do wonder if we overestimate the investment Satan has in what we're doing -- no one said people had to die to secure a place at the party, as far as I know.

You tell me. I don't have any opinion on God, or Satan and whatever this is meant to be. Until now, they were just stories other places told people to scare them into acting a certain way.

Although, from the sounds of things if the octopus hadn't got involved, Lavi and Mikiri would've just stayed outside in an open area until morning and nothing would have happened. It makes you wonder if there wasn't some intervention there. Lavi's putting the blame for everything on himself, but...
